Every tree begins with a clear, hand-cut glass triangle that forms the base. I then carefully cut and arrange colorful glass pieces in layered, zigzag patterns from top to bottom, giving each tree its own lively texture and personality. Once the design is complete, it’s fused in my kiln at just the right temperature—hot enough to melt the pieces together securely, but not so much that they lose their distinct shapes and dimension.
The finished glass tree stands beautifully in a stained wood block base, ready to display on a shelf, windowsill, or tabletop.
