Create a colorful, one-of-a-kind piece of functional art! In this two-part mosaic class, you’ll transform a 12" wooden lazy Susan into a beautiful mandala design using glass tiles in every color of the rainbow.
You’ll learn how to use a compass to draw your guide lines and explore different mandala layout ideas to inspire your design. Then comes the fun part: choosing your favorite colors and tile shapes to create a pattern that’s uniquely yours! You’ll glue your glass tiles into place during the first session, bringing your vision to life one piece at a time.
Once your mosaic is complete, you’ll return for a second session to learn how to grout your design, bringing all the pieces together into a finished work of art.
No experience is necessary! Whether you love bold, vibrant colors or prefer a more soothing palette, you’ll have the freedom to create a mandala that reflects your personal style.
You’ll leave with a beautiful, handmade lazy Susan that’s as practical as it is eye-catching—a perfect addition to your home or a thoughtful handmade gift!
Please note: This is a two-session class. You’ll create and glue your design during the first session and return for a separate grouting session to complete your project.
