Everyone has that bowl of seashells they’ve collected from various trips to the beach. Well now you can beautifully display your ocean treasures in a fun new way! Join Amanda of Mosaic Montage to create your own custom ocean collage with sea shells, stones, gems, glass, sea glass, glitter, sand and more! All of these items will also be provided, but if you have some of your own shells and sea glass that you’d like to incorporate, feel free to bring your treasures.

During the class, you will get to pick from an array of items you might find on the ocean floor as well as some other fun splashes of color and shine. You will also learn how to place them all “randomly” together to imply the movement of an ocean wave, or to create the shape of a seahorse or anchor. Once your items are perfectly placed, we will mix, stir, and pour a thin layer of resin on your masterpiece to hold it all in place.

Because resin can take over 24 hours to completely set and cure, your art will need to stay overnight and will be ready for you to pick up 48 hours later.
